heritage fair topic plan
for my heritage fair topic i'm going to do sable island. i am hoping to contact the archives of nova scotia to get some history on sable island. i would like to focus on the history of sable island, the horses, climate and land and sable island as it is today. i think adding a couple personal thoughts of how sable island should look 5-10 years ago would be a good idea. i am going to try to use books and archives more than the internet because it will be easier and i will know the information is more reliable. i'm not sure about any items or artifacts at this point, i'm going to have to contact some people and ask around for some artifacts. hopefully after the winter break i will be more sure. while doing this project i am also going to talk about a photographer and his show i watched. thats what inspired me to do this topic.

Camille, it sounds like a good idea but you need to finalize some things. You need to contact the Nova Scotia Archives soon to find out if there is enough info. You also need to line up an interview and artifacts. Who is this photographer and show? I like your idea of how it should look in 5-10 years. You need to find out if there is enough info out there before you get started. You do not want to change topics half way through. Remember to tell a story and why it is important to Canada.
