what i am currently reading

i have been reading the new prochecy warriors book 3 dawn.  i am about on page 131.  this book is very good but the only part i didn't like is when squirrelpaw and brambleclaw come back to the clan and they have to explain thier journey to the clan.  it was a really boring part because i had already heard about thier journey to sun-drown place.  i was so sad when graystripe got caught by the twolegs and i hope he will come back because he is one of the main character's best friend.  i know that all of the clans make the journey to find a new home but i don't know when they will find a new home and i'm not sure how the clans, windclan espesially will be strong enough to make the journey because they are starving.  i hope squirrelpaw becomes a warrior soon but thier is so much caous in thunderclan that she probably will becomne a warrior when the clans make it to thier new home.  this book has a deep meaning in it.  i realized that erin hunter was trying to get through to people and say that wrecking forests harms animals.  the twolegs are tearing apart the clans' forest so the cats are starving.  all of the prey is dying so thier is nothing left to eat.  also this book talks about how animals would feel if they got captured and put in cages.  all the cats that got caught in the forest got put in metal cages.  the bottom of the cages made the cats feet bleed.  the wild cats were also afraid of the humans that came by the cages.  one cat, cole tried to attack the human because it was scared and when he attacked the human the human shoved cole back and cole hit something sharp and tore his leg open.  if leafpaw couldnt have been thier to help patch coles leg up and give him cobweb cole could have died from the loss of blood or he could have lost his leg.  that goes to show how humans treat animals even if they don't realize it.

the earth-ling inference

the earth-ling is a poem by brian patten.  brian patten made this poem with a very deep connection but other people probably have a different connection or inference to this poem than brian does.  i think this poem is about how an immortal human got dumped on earth from a different planet, the planet called alzorus.  the earth-ling or human created things.  he started off as a cave-man then grew into pioneer life and then modern life. then the earth-ling tells how it will be like in the future and how he hates earth in the future because mistakes were made.  maybe those mistakes were inventing things that didn't have a positive impact on our world.  when the earth-ling says " but this is the basic story, the terrible story" i think he is saying that there is a positive story but only if we re-write the negative story for the future and not make any more mistakes that were made.
